    The little Casio that can

    Great sounding classic synthesizer for entry level classic synth. No luck yet finding a RAM cart so purchase one with it included if you can. Nothing crazy sound wise but it does have a pitch wheel and several very good synth sounds (synth reed, synth bass, synth bells, etc…) which can be a world unto themselves. I have found myself making classic “CS-80”-ish droning, dystopian or pleasant, sci-fi music for hours on end. The polyphonic keys allow for some very nice chords and shifting which really help nail this sound. Additionally, there are line out rca style jacks so it is possible to add additional effects such as chorus pedals if you have the adapter and hook to external amplifier or speakers. It also includes MIDI in and out jacks. Overall, a very solid built classic entry level ...
