This is a nice charger for the money. It actually has a small cooling fan installed not just vents where the fan should be. If your on a budget and need a unit that will actually charge a full size car battery this will be hard to beat.

No instructions. On 24 volts: positive connected, touched negative connection and ark burned clamp. Removed clamps, connected 120volt AC to check settings but the settings for voltage are automatic. Readout said "Off". Connected while A/C was connected and got no spark, charger sensed connection and set voltage, initiated charge. Next morning batteries were charged and charger was on "maintenance". Same procedure on12volts: A/C plugged in, display "Off" connected positive, connected Negative. OK
