Versatile, well built
Direct replacement fit with no mods on a 2020 Fender Stratocaster Floyd Rose set up. Comes with thumbscrew or allen head screws as an option on mine. I recommend the allen head for securing the bridge in “ non-floating” mode. Seems solid so far.

I bought tremol-no to hardtail my stratocaster. If you use it fully dont think that you can leave your backplate on. Not a problem for me cuz i used it to block the trem, but wouldnt want to leave the backplate off my strat.. the only negative side of this product is that if you use Fender bullet strings, you have to take it off each time you change your strings cuz the mecanism cover a part of the string hole. That's a major design flaw for me that could be prevented by changin the design with minimum modification of the part implyed..I bought tremol-no to hardtail my stratocaster. Possibly the best compromise
I've tried other Strat type tremolo stabilizing devices, but at the end of the day, I want an unencumbered floating tremolo if I'm gonna play a Strat. No detents in the travel please. At the same time, there are instances where I'd like to play a lead or rhythm fill with bending double-stops and have the guitar stay in tune, which of course other devices do to some degree, at the expense of detents in the travel or a harder setup. I've come around full circle and realized that the Tremol-No lets you set your trem the way you want, but with a couple of screws tightened, gives you an instant hard-tail guitar. Once you get these installed and dialed in, you don't really need to fuss with them, even if you want to down-tune and such. I recommend the pin-type if your guitar accepts it, don't ... Nice unit for stopping your trem from moving, my biggest criticism is that it protrudes from the back of the trem cavity about 1/8” at the claw and cover won’t go back on without shimming it. Other than that it does what I wanted it to.
