    A great replacement Samsung TV remote.

    It is a great replacement remote for most Samsung smart TVs. I was also able to get it to control the soundbar using the TV's IR blaster output. It can also control the Fire TV stick. Didn't know I could do all this for 5 years of owning this TV, as I had it professionally mounted upon purchase and never had the access to the back of it. And the original remote got damaged in an accident. I had an on/off remote for it (programmed from the original), which I used thereafter, and since it was connected to the AV receiver, I never needed anything more than the on/off function. Now I moved it to my bedroom and I am really enjoying using this Samsung TV and all it's features. I can't believe I used such a smart TV as a dumb TV for all these years.     Great replacement remote for Samsung 55" ku6290

    The remote that came with my new Samsung 55" smart TV was terrible - no numeric keypad and only up/down toggles for volume and channel. The TV was great, but the remote control that came with it made me regret buying it. For example, to switch from ch 2 to ch 80, you had to scroll through all 78 channels. This replacement remote provides all functions for the TV and is also much easier to use. It works as if it was made for this TV, so it probably works for many other Samsung models.
