    Quality outstrips iPod

    Microsoft know ow to make a good product and the Zune exemplifies that, the quality of sound and ease of use makes it stand out against the iPod, the only negative point is that with Microsoft not supporting Zune products - interfacing with a computer to manage music etc is challenging and is fairly time consuming.

    the largest available memory and the best software available !!! ZUNE !!

    I;ve had the 80GB version and with the new HD zune available. picking up the hudge 120GB up at a reasonable price is a no brainer.. Mine with a compnent Cable got use massively on holiday.. plug into the input on any TV and you can watch all your videos via the TV.. Great to keep the kids entertained whilst away on holiday with only forign speaking TV... I Hold Every peice of music on my zune. and is easily linked into the car again using a component cable. Love the Little zune... the software is also much more friendly than Itunes !! Keep up the good work microsoft. !!

    Commercial flop but makes iPod's sound like tape decks.

    Like many people out there I'm reluctant to buy Apple's products. I hated the idea that it was so restrictive and don't get me started on limitations of file types. I bought one of these back in 2008 and have never looked back. Yes ok you need to download the zune software on your pc to talk to the mp3 player, but it also acts as a flash drive with an adjustable storage size. So you can work around that. The interface I've found is easier than an iPod once you get used to it. My favourite factor is the ability to play high quality audio files on it. The sound is fantastic.
