Great little prime lens, standard focal length
This lens was the main reason I bought the Samsung camera. It is so compact that the camera is really easy to carry. It is also fast, at f2, and sharp. It is possible to play with focus, in the way you can with a film SLR, getting nice out-of focus backgrounds. The lens isn't image stabilised, but with f2 and 30mm this isn't necessary. It doesn't offer the i-function button, but all the facilities of this are replicated with the jog wheel. The 35mm equivalent focal length is about 45mm, so it is a good compromise standard lens. If I were to take only one lens while travelling, I would be hard pushed to decide between this and the 20mm, but they are both so small, you can take both. Superb Samsung 30mm f/2 prime lens
A fantastic bright prime lens that is capable of very sharp images and can be used for portraits without any noticeable distortion. The build quality is excellent and I would therefore highly recommend this lens.

Je viens d'acquérir le pancake Samsung 30mm f/2 et c'est un excellent objectif! Il est compact, léger et performant, le piqué est bien présent dès la pleine ouverture. Sa focale est assez passe partout et l'AF est plutôt rapide. Je le recommande sans réserves!
