This 7 port USB card works perfectly. It was as easy as turn off your computer and unplug it, open the case ,remove the slot cover, plug it into an empty slot, connect power plug close up the case. plug it back in and turn on. Windows will set up everything. it also comes with cd to install drivers if needed or you can go to the web site to down load the driver. That's it! don't for get to plug in your USB devices.This 7 port USB card works perfectly. Very unreliable expansion card, do not buy!
This card is very unreliable. When you start the PC, sometimes it will find the card, sometimes it won't. When you put the PC to sleep and wake it up again, the card and all the devices connected to it are gone. A simple reboot doesn't fix this. You have to shutdown the computer and pull the plug. I have tried all settings in the BIOS, I have tried both Windows 10 and Windows 7, and nothing fixes the issue. Basically, this card is completely useless to me and a waste of money. Furthermore, the card contains horizontal connectors instead of vertical. When you plug it into the motherboard, the case has an opening in the back so you can plug devices into the connectors, but on most cases this opening isn't wide enough, so you can't physically plug the USB device into the card! This is a great product. This is the third one I purchased. There is another brand that has 7 ports, but that one the ports are almost impossible ti plug in. This also comes with a install CD which works excellent. Although 2 ports will be inside the computer you can get a dual extension to put it on the outside. You can also use your wireless receiver here.
