Unfortunately, this DVD's case got broken in transit, but the seller was kind enough to give a small refund for the damage. Otherwise, smooth transaction, fast delivery, and the other items I purchased that came in the same package arrive undamaged. Items were just as described. Thank you.=)

  • This movie will appeal to people who would otherwise be staring at the wall

This movie is mostly a collection of interviews of old retired guys who used to be snipers. If you want to hear that stuff, go to your local VFW headquarters with some beer money, and you can hear all of it you like. If you want anything authentic, “forget about it.”* There is one scene of a sniper shot, and that is done with an actor, not a stunt man. He squats in the high grass waving an AK around and then flops on his back with his arms spread out. A pathetic effort by B movie standards. And they use that scene over and over. They use a lot of footage over and over, actually. There is lots of free footage of training from the Marines and the Army, and a good deal of self serving babble from DOD sources. Most of the speakers are not at all well spoken, but then, they probably ...

  • simple, to the point, alittle dry.

basic review of the history of snipers and their inception. to the point facts. narrator is a bit dry but the info is good for folks looking to learn more about snipers and how they are stationed with military units and the methodology used with them. average dvd not as enjoyable as say the discovery channel would put together, but as I stated for someone wanting to understand basics it was fine.

  • It's ok but not great

Too much time showing history of american sniper. the fanatics of the theme are looking for new techniques and deserves to see modern tactics
