Memphis Belle (VHS, 1991)
Excellent story about the lives and attitudes of the young men of the crew of a B-17 Flying Fortress, the "Memphis Belle". They has successfully flown twenty-four missions and were scheduled to be rotated home after completing their twenty-fifth mission. They were the first crew to reach that magical number, and just needed one more. This movie is about the last day and night before that mission, and the actual flying of that mission. It won't be a milkrun. They are going to Germany and will be flying over Nazi-occupied Europe all the way. This will be their most dangerous mission. Their target is a series of factories in Bremen. MEMPHIS BELLE B-17 FLYING FORTRESS GREAT MOVIE!
I thought this was a great movie about the pilots who flew the B-17 Flying Fortress military plane and their experiences. It has really great actors and story. Well worth watching!
