Ceiling Speaker Performance
I bought this speaker because it has good reviews on Amazon and Best Buy's website. The cut out for this speaker is the same size as the 6.5 inch Yamaha ceiling speaker, so I went with the 8 inch version. Performance: Wow, I was impressed overall. I have a Yamaha receiver RX-V465. The tweeters can be aimed toward the listening area. The bass sounds great, I watched Tropic Thunder last night and the five speakers I installed in the ceiling provided plenty of bass. The vocals/highs sound clear and crisp. I feel great about my purchase and would recommend these speakers to anybody, absolutely no regrets.I bought this speaker because it has good reviews on Amazon and Best Buy's website. Yamaha Audio equipment is well known to be of good quality and value. Obviously there are more expensive speakers for Home Theater but for most I believe that these built in speakers are a perfect choice for a wall or ceiling application. They produce a very natural full range of realistic quality sound with no vibrations or hiss sounds. 3 way speakers allow the wide range of frequency that cheaper speaker systems cannot compete with.Yamaha Audio equipment is well known to be of good quality and value. Awesome product, Superior sound!
The speakers have easy installation with connectors to connect to the drywall. Also has easy wire connection. Some of the coolest features are angled tweeters for superior sound angle, paintable grills and rims to match ceiling/wall color, cant beat it for the price. Did the research, there isn't a better product for the price out there.
