The paper is thin like copier paper. Markers will bleed and gel pens show through. Colored pencils or crayons give the best results. I bought my copy on eBay but for some reason it was sent to me from Amazon?

I hate our area Amazon drivers: they don't put any packages by our apartment doors. Lucky I got my package. It's for my 12 yr. old niece Ella. A bit smaller so can fit it into her backpack nicely.
