I use them in a large living room/dining room combination, and the speakers have to be tuned about half volume, or they will blow you out of the room. The tubes really tone down the brightness of the speakers, yet the clarity is unbelievable. I control the volume with my phone. I found no need to go to the HTA 200 for my purposes. Parts express was great to deal with, thank you.
