I'm pleased with the product, but their tech support told me that you cannot use multiple model 1730 units in one location, or they will interfere. Instead you could use something like a model 1735 which has 3 different channels which will not interfere. It is OK to use both a 1730 and a 1735 together.

This is an attractive unit with nice BIG display. I bought 2, solely to read outside temp. Put one display near my bed and other in kitchen. Was able to pair both to same transmitter. Display does not have wall hanging capability but I used a velcro dot on the battery door and works ok. I like it other than it consistently reads 2 degrees lower than actual outside temp. Ive compared it to known accurate thermometers

Overall, a very nice product. It was a big plus not to require running a wire to the outside sensor. Installation was very easy. Note, it will need battery replacement on occasion. Only objection is not having a screen light. Well worth the price.

I bought to replace another remote thermometer that was going on and off. Be warned though that the range on this one is not far. I had to relocate unit near my front door which is only about 8 feet from the outside remote... display on home unit is nice...needs a hole to hang on wall...I had to get adhesive Velcro to wall mount.

I am a programmer and tech, there has never been something I couldn't set up, using instructions especially. The instructions literally are backwards of the order to put batteries in the unit. Once I used logic as opposed to the instructions it was fine.

This product is easy to use. (No IT degree needed.). Just what I needed and wanted. I didn’t want a lot of other details on the devise I purchased. I’m a Sr. citizen, so this product is the best I could find for my needs and for ease of use. I’m a happy camper! Thanks.

I used lithium batteries even though I live in a moderate climate, just to be safe. Installed the sensor under my eaves, and positioned the readout unit on a bedside table in an upper story of the house. The two units didn't take long to get in sync & give a good read-out. They are currently only about 10-12 feet apart, so I don't know yet how far apart I could move them and still have them work well. No problems so far - love it!

I use this in my truck. Records internal/external temperatures. Living in AZ we often reach hot weather.

I have had a number of their products, and they were all of good quality. I use them for remote sensing in my greenhouses. This unit is fairly basic, but it of typical Taylor quality and delivers consistent performance in a small package without an excessive battery footprint.

With lithium batteries, it was able to display our -14F the other day. Picture was taken in sixteen degrees. The wireless outside remote sensor eliminates clutter, and reduces the odds that a squirrel might suddenly render it inoperable. You can choose Fahrenheit or Celsius, and whether the larger display is the Inside or Outside reading. Much sleeker and more attractive than the one with the wire, which a squirrel chewed through. The only downside was the price of the four AAA lithium batteries. Great value for the price.
