An odd lock, that's useful for lock sport enthusiasts
As the Lock Picking Lawyer said, it's Master Lock's best lock core in its worst lock body. The lock is purpose built, not to stop people from accessing something, but instead to warn someone that work is being done. For instance to lock an electrical panel while working on power in a building. If needed the lock can simply be snapped off, but until the work is done, people will know not to switch the power back on. All that said, this is a surprisingly pick resistant lock (for a Master Lock) and if you're practicing lock sport, this can be an excellent (and fairly inexpensive) addition to your lock picking practice sessions.As the Lock Picking Lawyer said, it's Master Lock's best lock core in its worst lock body. I bought these locks as practice locks for picking and they're ideal: affordable due to the plastic body and challenging due to the 6 pin core (including serrated pins and security pins). A word of caution though: do not over rotate the core. Turning the cylinder more than 90° will make the pins fall out and your lock will become a rattle, unable to open even with the key.
