After inspection the item seemed to be well packaged and I saw no reason for the long delay in delivery other than the package was re-labeled by FedEx.     Good Tools, Cheap Case

    The tools that come with this set seem to be decent quality, and Lowes is good about replacing Kobalt tools without many questions due to the lifetime warranty. The case, however, is cheaply made and low quality. The drawers don’t slide well, the latches are cheaply constructed, and the molded inserts for the tools are thin, easily deformed, and don’t hold the tools well. If you find this set for a good price, the tools are a good value. My recommendation is to put the tools in a toolbox or workbench and throw the case out with the rest of the garbage. I’d also recommend some socket rails if you go this route, so that the sockets can stay in order and be easily accessed.

    Nice tools, but few issues.

    The problem isn't with the tools, it's with the toolbox. If the tool box gets put on its side or jarred, the sockets come out of their spots in some of the drawers. Then, I'm the opposite side some of those items are so hard to get out of there spots it's a pain. my number one complaint is that it's very difficult to read the etching of the socket sizes. I have a pair of reading glasses and a magnifying glass in the top of the toolbox for that purpose. I have another set of sockets, they are black with big etchings of the sizes on them, I use those foremost projects, Bluetooth is of identifying the sockets.

    Cobalt Tools

    I had been looking at these tools for a few years in the home improvement stores. They look good and have a good feel to them. When a few of mi Craftsman tool grew feet and walked off, I needed to replace them. The Craftsman sets are great tools, but the sets are over laden with Allen keys, and screwdriver bits each counting as 1 tool. The Cobalt set was less expensive, and have a great quality and as far as the lifetime guarantee? The tools that were stolen have no replacement. If I could replaced them... where is Sears? I feel that Cobalt is every bit as good as Craftsman now that I have had the chance to use them. These tools were the right choice for me. I am very satisfied.     Great travelling toolkit with an extra drawer for other tools.

    I've been using this for my traveling mechanic work for the last two weeks and it has been a fantastic replacement for my old tool system as well as convenient to use and light enough to travel in a small car. I'm not sure how long the plastic case will hold up for my use, but it works well and keeps your tools organized while you're on the go.

    Toolbox came slightly damaged but otherwise excellent

    The front of the toolbox where the latches are was popped apart and keeps popping apart so the top tray keeps dropping down into the drawers but, it's not a big deal I can add some glue if I need to for the price this is an amazing deal. It's more than twice the price at a brick and mortar store.
