Cree is a US company that makes fantastic LEDs and these are great bulbs.
I got one of these at a hardware store that went out of business. It was the last of a giant pile of leds they had marked down. I didn't need a flood light but I knew from a flashlight with cree diodes that it was a good product from an American company so I bought it anyways. These are the best bulbs I have ever had. They dim so you can put them just about anywhere and it works. I have 1 in an old lamp with the beam shooting straight up into the ceiling. It lights the whole room and does so better than any other bulb before it, even 150 watt dimmable incandescent. I took the chance to stock up when I saw them pop up in my ebay feed. Great bulbs, Cree is a good US manufacturer named after Native Americans, the real ones.

A decent LED brand.
There are many different brands of LED bulbs these days; some good, and many average to poor. The Cree bulbs seem to hold-up better than many others and operate well at an affordable price.
