    Dell HHD Caddy

    If you own various Dell PC's this caddy is probably for you. Dell has many innovative PC design features and these toolless caddies are just one of those wonderful designs. They are easy to use and unlike many PC HHD options these units are toolless. It takes a bit of effort to twist the plastic around the HHD but once done this unit pops in easily. Enjoy....

    OEM for several Dell models.

    Dell has used plastic drive mounts in their desktop boxes for years. I still prefer the old 4 screw mount, but this is a close second. The drive snaps in easy and locks into the case securely. Along with the models mentioned in the description, I used mine in a Dell Vostro 460. I'm sure other models use this as well.

    Drive Caddy for Dell Precision T7500

    Good: Easy to use, no tools required, fast drive installation and equitable price. This unit was a great bargain and made my installation much easier and faster. The drive caddy was flexible but substantial enough to hold the four new drives securely in place. Almost identical to the existing OEM Caddy being used in the Dell Precision T7500 I was remodeling (added one 500GB SSD, one 500GB SATA drive and four 1 TB drives). Shipping was prompt and well packaged.

    It works as advertised

    It does what it is meant to do: hold the drive steady in the drive bay. Quiet? yes (no way to make sound). Fast? no: does not move. Reliable? I suppose so: in three days it has not failed. All pieces parts were and are present. No installation instructions, but if you were in position to want one you probably have enough mechanical gumption to handle the install. A bit more complicated than a bobby pin, but manageable.

    These pieces are for most Dell work Station's and other Dell tower's. They help make upgrading to SSD's a snap. Since they are OEM you can't go wrong .
