A read a quick review in the Fort Worth Star Telegram about this book and it hit a chord with me regarding my employment. Personal accountability seems to have gone by the wayside at many establishment, including the one I work at. Rather than accepting fault, most employees that I have contact with are more interested in rationalizing why it was ok to make a mistake, etc. The book seems to be an advertisement for the QBQ seminars which are offered. Rather than help teach personal accountability, the book focuses only on the reader and their own personal accountability. In fact, there is a chapter that talks about how this book isnt meant for others, just the readers. Certainly a good book for folks who have the self-awareness that they struggle with personal accountability, but no much help for folks who already practice this.Read full review
On the recommendation of Dave Ramsey, who has all his employees read this book, I bought it for one of our employees. Of course, I read it first. While rather simplistic, the book makes an excellent point. Take total responsibility for your own actions, and behaviors. Don't whine and complain, instead make things happen. A good read, and a fast read. I would recommend it.
This book is fantastic! I heard the audio book and liked it so much, I bought hard copies for myself and my entire team. But it doesn't just apply to work; it applies to life in general. I so wish I'd had this when my kids were growing up so I could have made them read it!

Nothing earth shattering, but it’s an easy read and a good reminder of holding yourself accountable for challenges you are facing.

This is a book that every person should have. With small easy to read chapters, it is a book that teaches you that everything is not the other guys fault. You are where you are because of choices you have made in your life. Not a self help book or motivational type of book. Just teaches reality in why you are where you are. Murphy
Great book, but this was an earlier edition which is shorter than the current edition.

If you've read "who moved my cheese" this is another book with real basic helpful understanding about what people are really meaning when they say things, accuse, or ask questions and how to handle stuff. Easy read, quick chapters; I read it in a day and now my husband is reading it. Highly recommended; I 'll read it again before I pass it on to family members.

Very cool book. Makes you think and a whole new way. Definately reccomend it. I makes you think about issues differantly. After our group read it, we all had a new phrase when we came up against a problem or road block; "QBQ it".
