It can hold my Pentax K-3II, D-BG5 battery grip, HD DA* 16-50mm f/2.8 PLM lens, & Pentax AF360FGZII flash solidly without a problem. That's about +-5lbs of gear. All adjustments are quick to make. It even comes with a built-in monopod if you need it. The tripod is tiny & it doesn't weigh much. It extends to a very tall height, though. I think it offers a pretty good bang for the buck value.
