Mice and rat trap
Well love the easy loading feature from the bottom and easy to set. Smaller than I thought, no way it could kill a squirrel just for mice and small rats. Wish they were a little bit bigger.

Not for rats
I would not suggest this product for catching small to medium sized rats. I can see this product working for mice but not true rats. There is a difference between the two. I set 12 traps. No dead rats for me unfortunately. The packaging and shipping time was perfect. I used thick peanut butter in the removable cups that twist into the trap. Overall good thick plastic. Just couldn't do what i needed. I would not suggest this product for catching small to medium sized rats. I can see this product working for mice but not true rats. More appropriate for mice.
This trap is more suited for Mice. On the first night I caught one small rat. Though the other traps that were triggered were empty. telling me that what ever tripped it got away.

Better than the old style wire snap
I like the removable bait cups for putting homemade combinations of seeds and peanut butter. The pre-drilled holes on the handle side of the trap are handy for attaching the traps to horizontal wooden fence support beams. Lot safer (for my fingers) than the old style rat trap.

Good, but limited use.
These are great mousetraps, the only ones that consistently catch trap smart mice. The only problem with them is the way they are built to be hair trigger sensitive, they wear out quickly, and won't let you set it open after about 7 or 8 catches. But, I've bought them before, and will again, if I need some!
