    Does the job!

    I replaced a regular blue 15 watt bug zapper bulb which I had used because my ultraviolet bulb had burned out. After a few weeks with the blue bulb, I could hardly tell if the blue bulb was attracting any bugs to the zapper, although it certainly lit up the yard. I ordered the UV bulb and replaced it and immediately noticed a difference, that being flying bugs seem to be more attracted to the UV light. Lots more dead bugs with the UV than with the blue light. Or it could be that the bugs can't see the UV light and just fly into it, whereas the blue light is like a lighthouse warning them to stay away. That's just my opinion- I could be wrong. Who wants pie?

    It dosent attrack mosquitos like it is suppose to the light is not enough strong. It needs really to have the attrack stuff that you put at the bottom of the lamp.
