      Needed or the pedals may dig into the aluminum crank material

      They have a nice logo, but it's pretty much covered up by the pedal. They got stuck embedded in the FSA Gamma drive cranks after the pedals were mounted, so at least they don't fall off.

      Pedal to crank arm washers,

      Absolutely necessary on a carbon crank, work well on alloy ones too, prevents galling. These are chromed and really nice.
