      Great investment!

      I bought this thick foam pad because with the cheaper ones, the buttons can get unresponsive, which can effect gameplay very negatively. This pad not only improves on button responsiveness, but the foam minimizes impact on your joints, and even reduces stomping noise. It's a little more expensive, but if you're still playing DDR this many years later, you're the type of player that should get this pad.

      Not your 'old school' dance pad

      I've owned several dance pads over the past ten years, and this new one isn't your 'old school' dance pad. While the sensor shell is the same, the padding is quite different. I was expecting nine 'puzzle pieces' of spongy, dense foam, but what I received was three pieces of lower quality, less thick foam that, with extended use, may or may not last six months. Luckily, I replaced the foam from one of my old dance pads and it works fine...Buyer beware!

      I play DDR avidly and this is the best dance pad I’ve ever had! If the timing is off, DDR has a setting under sound settings to adjust for that . I’ve been able to jump around for longer with this one because the inch thick foam. It really eases the pain of jumping on my poor knees and ankles.
