    Dell PowerEdge SAS 6i/R 6ir RAID Controller YK838 great value

    Perfect for my need

    I needed a cheap RAID card that could do JBOD/passthrough to my installation of FreeNAS, and this card was perfect. Took out a Dell PERC 6/i and put in this SAS 6i/r and boom, done. Highly recommend if this is what you are looking to accomplish.

    Perfect controller for 2TB HDs
