    So far, so good!

The main thing I like about this device is the combination aspect and IT'S ABOUT TIME! Having a single box vs. two makes a big difference space wise and cable wise. So far the performance has been superior to my older boxes with less drop outs and "resets" when hardwired. When running speed tests (Xfinity), the numbers are always higher than the promised service speeds so uhm, yeah, pretty happy. My only issue (less one star) is that the unit is fairly pricey for a single box and should find greater interest and support at a lower price point (Netgear, you could dominate the market IMHO). Otherwise it is a strong, solid piece of equipment and I can recommend it (especially at a lower price point) if you are ready to upgrade your service and multiple old components with a single box. Happy ...

  • Stays up and reaches far

Too early to tell, but I am now getting a persistent connection. My old gateway would drop and need to be rebooted at least twice a week. So far so good, has stayed up. I seem to be getting a better signal throughout my house too. Was very easy to setup, just plug and play.

  • Good with some flaws

I love the power of the CAX80 (the name for the AX6000 router + modem). The speeds around most of my house are blazing. However, it can be finicky -- suddenly switching from 2.4GHz to 5GHz (they're on the same signal), which, when I'm in a far corner of the house, means I'll lose wifi for several seconds. Also, I had to get a tech to come out to my house when I hooked it up, because the signal through my cable was getting noise. That was related to a splitter, but I will say that my previous ISP-supplied modem never had that problem in five years. The old one was simply better at filtering out the noise. So on the whole I'd recommend, just know that it has its flaws.

  • Great modem/router combo.

Modem/router combo was easy to set up and has fast Wi-Fi connections throughout the house.

  • Netgear AX6000 Modem/Router Performs as Advertised

The Netgear AX6000 router is very easy to set up and the range is excellent. We have a 3,200 foot square-foot two-story home and it transmits a very strong and consistent signal. All three WiFi bars are illuminated from all four corners of the house on both floors. In fact, I can walk to the property line at the rear of our home some 200 feet away and receive a good WiFi signal with two bars illuminated. While it is pricey, I am very satisfied with this router and consider it money well spent.
