Great knob lasts until a mechanic or body shop decides to move it.
Ford has created a trouble free shift knob. There are no screws or pins or springs to hold it on. The shift pattern diagram can be rotated to line up with your desired angles. The only issue I have is that two times I have needed to replace the knob because mechanics or body shop guys have twisted the knob, stripping the internal splined plastic. It has only happened two times in 20 years so I know it is not from normal usage. I just bought this one when I picked up may truck from a paint and body shop and the knob was falling off... no reason for this other than they thought it should be rotated - which ruined it.Ford has created a trouble free shift knob. OEM part that fit perfectly and arrived FAST
Fit my '07 F-350 with a ZF6 perfectly. The inside is not splined like the shaft, so you tap it town into place. I added a little RTV sealant to make sure it stays put. So far it's working perfectly, and I prefer the textured feel over the old smooth one. Came in a Motorcraft bag.

Nice replacement knob 2002 Ford F250 6-Speed
This knob made a nice replacement. I thought that I would have to glue it on but it is a press fit and I just kept bumping down on it with the palm of my hand it went on nice and tight.
