Wrong size
It came as the wrong size, I ordered what I felt was the right model but it doesn't fit. Too much work to return it for the cost, my daughter can use it.

Not fully functional
I have two iPods (5th gen and 7th gen touch) they work well with original cables. However I wanted extra cables (for the cars) for road trips. It is in othre reviews that these are the "wrong size". Mine fit...if you wiggle them a bit. The cable is smaller in diameter, likely a smaller guage wire harness.... Cosmetically this item is fine. Does not charge. So if you plan on listening to your iPod (audiobooks for me!) for more than the life of the battery, you may be out of luck. Neither of the 2 cables purchased seem to charge my iPod device. I have tried 5 computers (ranging from USB 1.0 to 3.0), I have plugged them into each car USB (on the stereo) and to a AC/USB adapter, straight into the wall. 14 hours no charge!! it's a transfer cable, nothing more. Do not work
These particular wires don't work with generation 1,2,3,4,5,6 Ipod or Ipads. A common problem with these aftermarket wires. Many aftermarket wires either don't work, or charge way too slowly, these fall into just don't work category. Just buy Apple or the adaptor tips that allow you to use the new chargers on your older ipad or ipod, those work great.

I was thinking about using my I pod nano I received from my children do a Christmas years ago. I could not find my sync cable an could not charge it. The pandemic made us mor aware of our surroundings. The I pod music brought me back to better times. Thank you for making this happen A+++++
