- 0***b (14)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseThey all arrived safe and alive but the only complaint i have is that the lid wasn’t on completely so the larva and flies were escaping and all over the inside of the box. You can see in the picture where the seal should be on the lid, i had to squish a bunch of flies and the larva, and theres still larva outside the seal. Just not ideal for them to hatch outside the container. But other than that excellent product and they’re all alive.

It is a little tough to get them out safely with so much media and larvae on the walls, so I got a new lid and cut a hole in the center to hot glue a condiment lid on top. Now, I can just uncap it, tap the bottom, and get a dozen fruit flies into enclosures in a few seconds, no funnel needed. Highly recommend that diy modification but this is a great base for a culture!

But now I have more flies than I know what to do with 😂 guess it's time to buy more spiders and frogs. Or maybe I should try feeding them to my fish.

My Aug 6 order took ~5 weeks due to USPS routing, which worsened damage from my leaking tank. eBay held the case, so the seller couldn’t resolve sooner. The tank arrived with a small chip; I’ll keep it to stop the leak. Not the seller’s fault—thanks for being responsive.
