They weren't shown in the photographs, nor disclosed in the description. I was so bummed I didn't know what to do. I finally reached out. They said it had to be within 30 days and the item returned - it wouldn't be worth paying return shipping on a torn item. My husband threw it away. I received no refund. I don't know how they didn't see such big holes and sold it as new
