The book was probably in excellent condition when it left the seller, but because it was poorly packaged, it was damaged in shipment. it was not severely damaged, but the mylar envelope the book was shipped it allowed edge damage to the dust jacket and spine. No. I do not expect a refund or want to return the book, but I, as well as many other book collectors, am very tired of sellers shipping books in mylar envelopes. They provide no protection during shipment.

Diamonds, Love and Revenge - Great Combo for a Saturday night at the movies!
I love this film. While not a Demi Moore fan, she does an outstanding job as one of the key characters to this exciting film regarding love and revenge. Michael Caine is said to never have taken on a film he didn't like. Michael Caine, of course, is top drawyer in acting. If you love high stakes with diamonds, if you love a film that makes you think in the end, this is your film. "Will you be a giver or will you be a taker?" A key sentence in this film and for our lives. Will you be a taker or a giver? It's up to you!I love this film. Good movie but lousy closed captioning.
A good movie but some of the dialog is hard to understand. Late in the movie when the main characters meet in the sewer one can barely make out what they are saying and these lines explain the main reason for the robbery. Normally one would click on closed captioning and use that to follow the barely understood parts but this DVD only supports Spanish. Come on guys, if you sell the movie in America then make English one of the options.A good movie but some of the dialog is hard to understand. PLOT: Demi Moore is Laura Quinn a rare woman EXECUTIVE in the 1960's Diamond Business~ who has been passed over one too many times is approached by Cleaning Man HOBBS who has a way to steal diamonds and GET even~ SET in the 1960'S London Diamond Corporation~ we see lovely mature Laura Quinn (Demi Moore) who has been passed over dozens of time by men who are not nearly as qualified as she is~ tolerates the insults by working even harder~ having some very good ideas and the males take them and used them for themselves~when an old friend tells her she 'may' shortly be fired for her own "brilliant" idea~ she is depressed until a man she sees every day~ HOBBS the night Janitor/floor cleaner approaches her in A movie Theatre~ oddly enough "the Day they ... Not a Flawless Thriller but a Good Suspense Drama
This is a well-done suspense drama, but the pace is too slow for it to be considered a "thriller". As a long-time Michael Caine fan, I enjoyed his performance, and I was pleasantly surprised at Demi Moore's believable performance as the dauntless aspirant to the upper management ranks of her company only to be thwarted by the "old boy" network (British style). Is this a FLAWLESS suspenseful inside theft movie? No, but it's far from the worst, in my opinion. I enjoyed it because it withheld the uncovering of the final plot twists to the very end, although they were presented in a "too hurried" fashion and, therefore, lost some of their effect. intelligent and deliberately-paced heist film
Flawless is an intricate, intelligent and deliberately-paced heist film whose overall quality seems surprising given the film's low-key limited release. Michael Caine is particularly good in his portrayal as instigator of the crime and subsequent center of controversy. And I'm pleased to say that this is not another shallow career vehicle as some other films in the genre have been lately , the elaborate story and intricate details are likely to be most enjoyed by old-school genre fans who can appreciate attention to detail and a deeper meaning than the theft itself. And while the film doesn't completely live up to the high standards of it's title with it's slow-boil tension, iffy accents and general lack of pizazz, it's a worthwhile and well-acted watch ... Flawless is an intricate, intelligent and deliberately-paced heist film whose overall quality seems surprising given the film's low-key limited release.
