    item arrived quickly. was not in Renault packaging. I had to do quite a bit of modification to get it to work on my Renault 5 Turbo II. The latch hook opening was too small for the latch hook to enter and had to be enlarged in all directions with a Dremel tool. I don't know that this is the sellers fault, but buyer beware the you may have similar challenges. $100 seems like a lot for this part, but I guess that's what you pay for 40 year old plastic bits and I am happy to find the item

    Hello, first, let me start with the packaging I wonder why buyers are expecting parts to show up with Renault's original packaging because the majority of the parts are more than 40 years old or remanufactured items. For the past 10+ years, it has been not easy to find Renault R5 parts, especially in the USA so that's why prices are a little higher. I am expecting buyers to communicate with seller before going straight to leave the feedback.I have been trying so hard to bring R5 parts to USA.
