This item is made very well. I have a 1994 Ford E-150, high top van. The holes in the base of the seat measure 11 inches front to rear. I had to drill four holes at the front of the swivel to get it to line up with the holes in the orginal base, and in order to mount the seat to it. The swivel works very well. I also had to do the same to the passenger swivel.

These swivel bases are designed for 97 and newer Econoline vans. If your van is a 96 or older, these swivels will not fit your original base nor will it fit your seat studs. Additionally, if your van has been converted to 4x4, your driver side seat may hit the transfer case lever when trying to swivel the seat. Additionally, 92-96 Econoline seat belt receiver ends were bolted to the floor and stick up at the side of the seats. Swiveling the seat may be difficult with this configuration.
