Notes
Captures Marc Ribot's highly anticipated debut as a leader at the iconic Village Vanguard. Features a wide ranging repertoire of works by Albert Ayler, John Coltrane, and jazz standards. Marked bassist Henry Grimes' first appearance at the club since 1966, when he recorded the landmark Live in Greenwich Village album with saxophonist Albert Ayler. Ribot is a widely recognized original on the guitar, and a first-call guitarist for such musicians such as T Bone Burnett, Tom Waits, Elvis Costello and John Zorn.
