seems to be working fine. first experience using synthetic rope
actually, just got it on early this week. Have only used it once but it seems to do the job. My hope is that it will not get all kinked and clogged up like the steel cable that came on the winch. As I am loading I am running the winch with the wireless remote and steering the unit being loaded. this prevents me from standing over the winch to make sure the cable is coiling correctly. This caused some issues with the wire cable. I am hoping that the synthetic rope does better. so far it has but again only one use. It did wind up on the winch reel great. I was concerned that it would slip as I could not retain it in the wire rope fashion with the locking screw. so, I but a knot in it around the reel then let the knotted end of the rope get wound under the remaining rope and it seems to be ... actually, just got it on early this week.
