    More fun than I remember!

    Extremely fun to figure out all of these puzzles yet again! Wonderful game, full of interesting characters and hours of fun. The only downfall is that you are required to have the manual to the game to figure out a couple of puzzles. Supposedly a security feature for the game... lame. Luckily you can find the manual online if you try hard enough...

    You had better buy an IBM too.

    The game is a classic and I LOVE it. The problem lie in it's plausability. You really can't run this on Vista. You need to open the command prompt and type in E:SETUP which would be hard for those who are not technically savy. It is in a small window and Vista does not have a 256 color driver so running it causes the colors to get real messed up. I would not buy this unless you own an older version of windows.

    Computer Game Purchase

    King's Quest VI was one of my favorite childhood games so I was thrilled to find it on eBay. I didn't, however, consider the fact that because the game came out in 1995 that my newer computer (2003) probably wouldn't run it. This, however, is clearly an error on my part and not about the game. Oh well, at least now it's a good souvenir of my childhood.
