      Quiet but not whisper quiet

      I bought these to replace two 120mm fans in the front of my pc case. They were a little noisy and my cpu and graphics card seemed to run a little hot. I'm using the Darkflash Talon cpu fan/heatsink which is noisy itself. But after installing these two fans everything cooled down. Cpu fan started running slower making less noise. They do put out much more air than the 120's I had installed. These are well made but when tightening the screws I saw what some people had mentioned. The fan frames will make a cracking sound as the new screws are self threading into the frames. They won't break but it is a little scary. They are very quiet but not whisper quiet as some say. I can hear them at the front of pc case. But overall the pc is much quieter and would recommend these fans. Can't beat the ...

      Great value fan. Recommended for budget. Sleeve-bearing so expect less life if mounting horizontally.

      Great air flow. Quiet. Safely ignore the sound when using the self-tapping screws provided, as the holes were never "tapped" before l, and the plastics are a harder (and i suspect cheaper to keep costs down) than what I commonly see. But a solid product. I will absolutely be ordering these again for future builds. If you plan to mount at top of case expect about 1/2 the life of the fan. (Still an insane amount of time before failure when horizontal mount.)

      RV refrigerator cooling fans

      I used these to improve cooling on an RV refrigerator. They worked perfect and made a huge improvement to the cooling system. Interior temperatures stayed more constant and had no frozen items. Plus saved on propane.

      Great auxiliary cooling addition for cooling a an upgraded beast 2012 Dell Vostro 270 system.

      I've built (upgraded) several 2012 Dell Vostro 270's recently and the client was concerned about heat and rightly so. They were server workstation combo's. and everything was max'd out., 500 GB SSD, 20 TB of storage, M.2 for virtual paging, C{U upgrade to a 4 core 17-3770 running at 3.9Ghz (in turbo= Performance mode power setting) and more. They were concerned about the heat the HDD drives would be putting more so than the CPU which runs cool and only draws 77 Watts. The Vostro 270's were intelligently designed where cooling is concerned. The left side access panel has a large screen mesh for airflow, but the stock exhaust fan only gets whats coming off the CPU and front part of the mobo. This fan fit great behind the mesh opening on the panel pulling in cool air and aiding the exhaust ...
