    Could have been stronger

    I was taking 12 mg liquid tabs that were all right and bought some 4 mg. The (3) 4mg did not have the staying power the 1) 12mg had. The ex date was good on both, so I don’t know. I will probably try a different brand the next time.

    So much more than expected!

    Several years ago, Dr. Oz recommended Astaxanthin. During my research, I came across BioAstin and started taking the capsules (4mg) daily. Apart from reducing joint pains (am in my 70's) it has helped me through flue seasons. As soon as I feel the first symptoms coming on, I double my intake and the flu doesn't get me. Believe me: friends and neighbors are sneezing and coughing all around me, while I am fine. Having BioAstin in the house is a must for me, and I can only recommend others to give it a try. BTW, I am not taking any other supplements or medications. There doesn't seem to be the need for now. :)

    I give this product a high grade, A+.

    I use this product for my eyes. It is nature's most powerful natural antioxidant so it has other benefits too. Which you can read about at www.mercola.com. I've been taking it several years everyday, and I think it helps maintain sharp vision as I age. I cannot prove that scientifically. Astaxanthin is a natural vegetable product. So I look at it more as a food or spice than a supplement. Antioxidants are very important. For that reason alone it is never a mistake to take astaxanthin.

    Excellent for inflammation related illness

    I have been taking this item due to chronic interstitial cystitis where I constantly feel like I have a uti but really the bladder is irritated. It is the only thing that has taken away the pain. I think it also has helped a slipped disc in my back but that also could have just been healing on its own. If I skip a day of this, my IC pain comes back like clockwork. Love this product.

    Eye sight improved
