Not A Real Rabbit But Workable
Seller is using a little literary license claiming it is a Rabbit opener. It is not the Rabbit brand but a knockoff with the same shape and function. That said, it is the only one of its kind I could find that comes with a stand for storage and ease of use. We've had two other actual Rabbit openers that came with a display box but sadly they don't anymore. Without the box they are hard to store in a drawer as it remains open. Both real Rabbits eventually broke in the same place - where the handle joins the axis cylinder. Only used this one once so far and it does work but is a little stiffer to operate mostly due to the wider gears and larger diameter corkscrew. Still, it is an attractive and fully functional unit and easier to access than pulling the old Rabbit display box apart to get ... Decent Opener for the Price
For the price, this is a decent kit. One of the cork stoppers broke on the first use (the top's knob fell off when taking it out of the stand. I was able to glue it back on, but for it being brand new that's a bit disappointing.) The quality of the Opener itself it good. I had one from another company that I had for years and finally broke (too much usage!) and have not been able to find one as good quality as the previous one.
