    Replacement axle

    Ordered to replace OEM axle on bike I bought used. Metal edges on original axle had bent badly at the lever and wasn’t sure if it was the product or the original owner not being careful when removing. We’ll see how it holds up. Good so far.

    be careful when tightening

    The lips that bear the brunt of torque when tightening are too flimsy. They strip out too easily. So this purchase is actually a replacement. The picture below is of my OLD thru axle.
