    The kit was described as "Excellent condition" and that "the bearing edges are like new". I messaged the seller prior to purchase who assured me there were no issues. Opened the box to an an out-of-round bd shell, out-of-round hoops w/ repaired cracks that were poorly painted over, and a batter side reinforcement ring that was damaged & separating from the shell. Fought for return labels and am still fighting to receive a refund after he received the kit back and stopped responding to messages.

    Seller advertised a Rogers 20 bass drum hoop. It arrived and it was not a Rogers hoop and the condition was deplorable. Worst I have ever received in an eBay transaction. The cost was $80.00 plus $about $20 for shipping, so a $100 loss. I contacted the seller to request a return and it was refused. The listing said no returns and it appears the reason was that the seller knew they were selling an extremely worn hoop that was not made by Rogers.
