Great keyboard
I've been playing professionally for 30+ years and have been through a lot of keyboards. I was a bit hesitant to buy a Casio because, well, it says "Casio" on it. I bought a Privia PX-160 a couple of years ago and couldn't believe how good it was, so I decided to upgrade to the PX-5S. It is extremely easy to use (although I found youtube tutorials more helpful than reading the provided user guides/manuals)...and, it sounds GREAT! You will not be disappointed. I've been playing professionally for 30+ years and have been through a lot of keyboards. I was a bit hesitant to buy a Casio because, well, it says "Casio" on it. I bought a Privia PX-160 a couple of years ago and couldn't believe how good it was, so I decided to upgrade to the PX-5S. Does the job! Great value for the sound.
I've used this keyboard on jobs for the past 6 years and it always comes through. Traded my Roland 700 in because of weight. I was also hestitant to use a Casio for professional gigs but this is a great board. Good piano, Rhodes, strings and synth sounds. Not the greatest organ but tolerable. Manual was tricky to understand but setting up patches, layering, splitting keyboard, etc all pretty easy once you figure it out. Can't beat the price and it is light!I've used this keyboard on jobs for the past 6 years and it always comes through. Traded my Roland 700 in because of weight. Could be a little more user friendly. A manual with a glossary might help. Haven't used it in a live situation yet.
