    Best upgrade for any OS with a compatible motherboard

    Best upgrade for any OS. But, make sure your mobo can boot from M.2 2280 NVMe M-Key! , not B-Key. Samsung 970 EVO's potential is wasted on just being a storage drive. Plus Samsung's OS cloning software works great. For older pcs go with Samsung 860 EVO SATA SSD

    Great m.2 SSD

    Awesome m.2 If you want the latest and greatest this is it, Very Fast Boot times are very fast I upgraded from an old Samsung 850 2.5 inch ssd and noticeable difference in everything. runs cool and its awesome. I installed some games on it and they load extremely fast tranferd some files around no hangups or slow downs. A little less than advertised spec I get in AS SSD about 3100 MBPS Read and 2300MBPS Write I have latest driver and that's the fastest drive iv ever owned. even tho its not running at rated specs that's not a big deal but its still EXTREMLY FAST SSD im using this as my main boot drive in pc and it works great, worth every penny

    Super fast!!

    Definitely want to get another one of these. Just wish it wasn’t so expensive. Just built a new system and haven’t worked out the bottle necks yet but, compared to my Mac Book Samsung SSD and my SATA 960 Evo the M2 NVMe is beyond both. After copying Win 10 from disc it took maybe 2 mins to install. I’ve installed a bunch of games and apps faster then when I had 2 SATA SSDs in raid 0. It is fast and seems very stable. As note I would recommend looking at benchmarks for this. I was going to get the 256gb 970 pro but saw that the regular EVO 500gb has better benchmarks and reviews for cheaper.

    the future!

    super easy to install in my dell g5 - literally a single screw & plug hold it in place. Getting it to work with my laptop, however, was a ...chore... spent pretty much all weekend getting it to work right, tried cloning, which didn't work well for me, before giving up & just formatting the whole thing followed by a fresh windows 10 install. now everything is lovely. super fast!

    Excellent Product.

    I was looking for one of these for a long time and this so happened to be at a really good price even if the box was opened. I was excited to receive and quickly installed it which led to me having to wipe everything off my HDD not the SSD’s fault was just a personal error but after using it and testing read and write speeds it works exactly as it should. It came a day earlier than expected so that was a bonus. Thank you for this great product!!
