    If you’re gonna make a universal gigbag, make sure it at least fits a P Bass.

    Like the title says, it doesn’t fit a P bass. I can cram mine in there, but it’s so tight it’s about to bust open and it moves the tuning keys. A Jazz bass, forget it. If they made it literally .5” longer and .5” wider, it would fit either of those basses well. Why make a universal case that won’t fit the 2 most popular basses out there? Bad design, buy a better bag.

    Well made but does not zip shut around Ibanez SX700 Bass.

    Well made but does not fit my Ibanez SX700 Bass. It is not shaped like the one shown in the listing. my bass has an elongated upper body horn and the case shown in listing looks like it would fit. Case shipped is semmetrical and does not zip shut around body.

    You don't always get what you pay for

    This bargain is no bargain. The canvas and workmanship are OK but the "padding" is a joke. I woiuld never use this for anything other than a dust cover. Your bass would be better prtected wrapped in a packing blanket. I don't expect hard case protectiuon from a gig bag but this Gator product was a BIG disappointment. Spend your money elsewhere.

    A Decent Bag For the Price

    This is a good gig bag for the money, with better padding than most bargain bags. I'm very pleased with it. I bought it to sell with a bass guitar I had no case for and wanted one to enhance it's value. I saw many listed with half the padding thickness this one has. If I needed an affordable option for protecting a bass guitar, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this bag. I did a lot of internet searching and this was the best deal I found.
