    Great upgrade!

    Assembly instructions were sparse for the motor and non-existent for the needle positioner. I had to rely on third party instruction sources for assembly instructions. The new motor mounted in the same holes in my sewing machine table, I liked that the motor had several ways to adjust the pulley position once mounted, by pivoting the motor and a less obvious way of sliding the motor back and forth on a track. The motor was lightweight and very quiet, It ran slow when combined with a 50 mm pulley add-on and offered plenty of torque. The needle positioner did not fit my Consew RB 3 industrial sewing machine. The positioner came with two different size bolts to mount the adapter piece to the sewing machine wheel and both were too large for the existing threads on my machine,

    Csm1001 is better than great!

    This is really outstanding upgrade to a sewing machine! You can limit the top speed as well as there is a slow start option which is adjustable. The needle positioner is great. It's made using the machine a joy again.

    Nice for some machines.

    The motor does not go real slow, so I'm going to replace the pulley with a smaller diameter one. The needle positioner does not fit a Consew 206R sewing machine, so I'll have to make some kind of structure so I can make it work with my machine.

    Awesome

    Very easy install. Works well for the Consew 332 double needle. I had to modify the handwheel for the needle positioner and figuring out the needle up/down was a little experimentation, but I did manage to figure it out pretty well. It works much better than the clutch motor and is quiet when running, but silent when not running. Another added benefit is with the clutch motor, turning the motor by hand requires feathering the clutch, but with this motor, you don't need to do anything to turn it by hand.The slow speed is very nice as well. I can make single stitches.
