      Cheap stuff

      Shipped fast, too bad only 3GB out of 4GB actually worked, after running several tests, results both showed faults in 3 of the 4 -1GB sticks. I got what I paid for I guess. Since it's a really old machine for testing apps, not too concerned.

      Does the job

      Works well in my Dell Dimension 4700 after reseating a few times as suggested in the trouble shooting guide provided. Slots 2 and 4 weren't used before, so they probably were dusty. My computer recognized 4G of ram, but as I read in the forum, my 32 bit OS's (XP & ZORIN 9) only use 32.5G.

      its it worth it to install more ram on a slow system? yes with a SSD

      seems to jazz me up on the cheap. Loaded Linux with a 24o gb solid state hard drive. The extra ram seems to help out this old emachine . The computer is 10 years old, however it is stable and fly's like crazy. What more do yah want?
