    Enjoy the lower price, but not the setup and operation with this little guy.

    Ergonomics=Industrial Performance=OK Meets FCC Part 95 regs on 440 MHz. Who knows on 144 MHz. Look it up. Size=Good, very small. This appears to be a higher power version of the Baofeng UV-5R design. The controller chip or programming is probably the same or similar. Seller and Factory support is NIL. Instruction manual is OK once you have struggled with it a while. VFO mode is worthless because the VFO steps are channel steps, not the PLL steps. Price for the same thing is better on Ali Express. If you have a small budget for ham radio, this will do. Only way to get it programmed for US repeaters or a single frequency is with the cable and software. Be sure you get these with it.You can't get there with the VFO. The programming software is similar to Chirp.Windows only. Will I keep it? ...

    Nice little radio.

    Its not high power with 18 watts .For most urban areas it will work fine. You can access different factory settings. For GMRS it will already be pre-programed. I have been also using its twin ,Radioddity db 20. for almost a year now.

    Not Quite

    Doesn’t work with Chirp so you have to program is manually. Took a whole day to program. Once programmed I found the 2 meter radio didn’t work. Otherwise the reception was good and the mike and controls felt good. I wanted it to work, but returned it.
