    Overall awesome product

    Awesome product. It has a great picture in light and still clear in the dark. It will record in complete darkness but it's very clear just is in black n white. Was up an running in no time. Tech support helped me fix a small problem with signing up for a service plan and they were great too. No customer support number, which is inconvenient, but live chat worked for me. The only thing I'd change is the lights on the bottom. They should include a bottom cap if you don't want anyone to notice it. It flashes when it's recording and is blue. I put black tape over the light and told everyone it was a wifi booster. I like that even if a theif steals it, your footage is all still in your app to download if you need it.

    Compact and easy to set up.

    This is my second canary. It paired up on my network with no issues. You do not have to get a membership to monitor and record 24 hour time periods. However they are now offering a membership where you can use the cameras with two way voice! Right now you can hear what is going on in the home, there is also a siren you can set off. I use it for monitoring my dogs while I am out and also the front and back doors. I think it is a great little camera. We have fast internet speed so it is more like real time video you are watching. I have not tried out the alarm. The motion sensors are sensitive. On night mode (infra red camera is good) it will pick up a moth flying past at night. You can adjust your settings for notifications of movement. It arms itself when you leave the house. ...

    Great camera for my dogs

    This is a great camera to use to monitor your pups. Picture quality is good. It does have occasional lag. so probably not the best camera for security purposes.It will show my dogs going out the doggie door but sometimes it doesn't show them coming back in. I have cameras in the house in other places and I'll see that they have come back in without notification from the camera near the door. I have 4 Canary cams. Three indoor and one outside canary flex. While there is some occasional lag ( camera buffering) that I mentioned, I'm very happy with my purchase. These are great cameras for the price point!

    Easy to Use, great mobile app interface

    The Canary was very easy to set up, it’s the second one I purchased, As I wanted a wider coverage area being monitored. Definitely would recommend it to anybody looking for an easy-to-use security system.

    Not sure it’s new but it’s good

    The description claims it’s a new device, it comes in a different package than a new in store does and it’s missing manual as well as the yellow cable ( I own a canary already ). Having said that I was able to set it up without issues and so far working as good as my other one, if you can live without the cable ( used sometimes for setup if WiFi doesn’t work) and can follow the app then you will like this product!
