    Good performance for the price

    I took out an Athlon 64 3500+ CPU and replaced it with this. The PC was about 3 years old, bought when DDR3 RAM was coming on as the new standard (board is DDR2). The performance improvement from the X3 alone made a big difference and the machine is now noticeably faster. I'm a regular user of the newer X3 and X4 CPUs and remember when this one was priced well north of $100

    AMD Phenom X3 8450 2.1 GHz 8 x LOT Review

    I was looking for a LOT of AMD Phenom X3 processors to complete a server order I was working on. Normally, I purchase my system components new. However, what compelled me to purchase this particular set of CPUs is that I could get them as LOT rather than tracking down one here and one there. The only regret I have with the purchase, is that I had to spend two hours fixing the bent pins on all of the units. However, after doing so, I am happy to report they all worked just fine without any issues which is more than I expected. To generally I am happy and would purchase another LOT of X3 processors if I could find them.
