    Awesome lens.

    Ive had the sony 55mm f1.8 for a couple months now. Bought the sony planar 50mm f1.4 to see how much difference the bokah would be and its alot more than expected. As a budget buyer idk if i would spend the extra money as the 55mm is super sharp and takes beautiful pictures even at low light but for the bokah its worth it.

    Fantastic lens if you have the money

    A fantastic lens that’s razor sharp, even at f1.4, and focuses quickly. There are much better valued lenses available for the FE mount, like the 55mm f1.8, but none are as fast as this one or as sharp wide open.
