    adequate, but not great.

    The speakers work fine, but the sound they put out isn't impressive, just adequate. Bluetooth pairing worked fine, but requires NFC, so that might limit your pairing options. Line in also worked fine. I'm using these in a classroom hooked up to a projector and have to have them almost maxed out to watch documentaries. So they get just loud enough for a 20-person classroom but would not be good for a bigger space or for something more demanding like an action movie.

    Good as long as you don't pay the retail price of 199.00

    Good sounding speakers if you pay 50 dollars are so. These are Best Buys Private Label Brand and retail for 199.00 in which they certainly are not worth that kind of money. I got an open box deal for right at 50 dollars delivered and at that price they are worth it. Work well with Alexa because they do not have auto shut off like so many of the small bluetooth book shelve speakers do. Again, if you can get them for 50 dollars or so, jump on them, but retail 199 is crazy.

    Great Speakers with Useful Features

    Very clear sound, and bass is as good as you would expect for a speaker of this size. Certainly good enough for rock, leaves a little to be desired for hip hop (really deep bass) however the 'subwoofer out' jack will solve that issue by adding a separate powered sub! Decently loud. Definitely more than good enough for a small room or an apartment where loudness could be an issue. The 3 inputs of 1/8", RCA, and Bluetooth are really nice to have, and it allows me to use them with my TV or my phone/laptop (for music only) and switch at the push of a button on the remote. Note: I bought this as a returned item for much less than the normal new retail price. It's probably worth the normal price, certainly worth more than the price I paid!

    Good sound from budget speakers.

    Good quality sound affordable price. Self powered which is nice! The bluetooth seems a little bit weak, if my phone is too far away, but my building is old and the walls are thick.
